Our Trip To LA

To say that we found dozens of gorgeous pieces in LA would be an understatement! As soon as we landed at LAX, we got to work on the 2017 fashiontruck season. We had a brainstorming session the night before our first day of buying, so we knew exactly what styles and brands we were looking for which really maximized our time in the fashion district. We visited brands that we already carry on the truck and discovered some new ones that our customers will fall head over heels in love with. Exploring around that area truly was one of the coolest experiences I've had with the company to date. The sun was shining, we had our notebooks out, Eddie was smiling in his stroller and we literally shopped the days away.

Today on the blog, we wanted to share a bit more of our trip, including a few pieces that we pulled the trigger on and how we spent our time in sunny California. Check it out below! :)

On day one of our buying trip, we stopped by Alfred Coffee on Melrose Avenue to fuel up. The coffee is so delicious and the breakfast menu is to die for. So Californian. Below is what we both ordered. Ever since I got back from LA, almost every meal has avocado in it, I'm totally hooked. :)

Kayla's order is on the left, Ashley's is on the right.

Ash & Eddie snuck in some playtime at Alfred in the Alley before a long day of buying.

Just a couple of assistant buyers in LA, doing their thing. :)

We caught this incredible view on our drive back to our hotel. At that moment, we were trying to figure out how to uproot both families to LA. Only a few minor details to work out lol.

This romper was love at first sight. We don't expect this beauty to last long this Spring.

Day 2 began at Urth Caffé. If you're ever in West Hollywood, you should have brunch on their patio. This place is a fun spot to people watch and has a wide selection of teas and coffee. The food there is also super healthy and certainly hits the spot.

This maxi dress is stunning! Perfect for any Spring/Summer soirée or a day out on the patio sipping sangria.

The three of us had to visit The Grove on 3rd, a beautiful outdoor mall with an incredible selection of stores. We walked around and explored Nordstrom, Madewell and Ladurée and finished up the night having ice cream for dinner. It was perfect.

This off the shoulder dress definitely made its way into our cart. Would be perfect for a bridal/baby shower, paired with wedges and gold hoop earrings.

Eddie discovered ducks for the first time when we walked to Beverly Hills Garden Park. It was such an adorable moment. He's such an angel.

I was such a shameless tourist on this trip. It's such a magical city, can you really blame me?

We stumbled upon the most perfect rows of Palm trees on our walk in Beverly Hills.

Our final stop was Joan's on Third, the prettiest café we ever did see. It's right out of a Nancy Myers film. You can order a coffee & eggs benny for under $15 or grab a bottle of Summer Water and a few snacks from their market to bring on a picnic. I wish we had more time on this trip, would've been cute to drop a blanket at a park and spend the afternoon in the sun.
