FTC in LA

Happy Friday everyone!

Can you believe this gorgeous weather we've been having? Seems a little odd in February, but we'll take it. After such a grey Winter, us Canadians deserve a little sunshine.

So, as I mentioned last week,  Ashley, her sister, Eddie and I are headed to LA to pick up new styles and brands for this upcoming fashiontruck season! Can you believe the truck will be opening it's doors to a fourth season at the end of March?  Time really does fly. Speaking of, this buying trip really snuck up on us quick, we're just over a week away from taking off. If you couldn't tell, we're over-the-top excited. :)

Obviously work comes first, but over the last few weeks we've been doing a bit of research for what we can do on our down time while we're in sunny California. We've looked up everything there is to do in this magical city. After thoroughly scanning our go-to blogs, we stumbled upon a lot of great suggestions. We found some cool hiking trails, restaurants, local cafés, places to sight see and beautiful scenery for our Instagram, of course. :) Check it out and let us know if you have any suggestions, we'd really appreciate it. You can comment on our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages.

Runyon Canyon Park

This is one of the most famous spots for a hike in all of LA, so how can we miss out on this opportunity? We definitely want to work up a sweat while we're out West, so why not do it while taking in this stunning view? We'd be silly not to. Oh and if you're wondering, yes, the baby will be in tow.

Alfred Tea Room

This place is a must! Us ladies will be on the go for the entire trip, so we'll need some caffeine to keep us going. We can't wait to people watch (hoping to spot a celebrity) and sip on a coconut iced tea in the sun.

Venice Canals

This is truly an iconic spot we're hoping to visit. A walk at the canals would be pretty sweet. The palm trees, calm water, beautiful architecture and unique homes, simply gorgeous.

 Joan's on Third

For our longer work days, we definitely don't have time for a sit down breakfast, but it really is the most important meal of the day, especially when you're scoping out the latest fashion trends. A pit stop at this cute little café should do the trick. I hear their avocado toast is to die for and their coffee will keep you buzzed all day long. What I also love about this spot, they have a little market so you can pick up some goodies and head out for a picnic.

Santa Monica Beach

No explanation needed on this one. I see us taking a million pictures here. Hey, can you blame us?

Gjelina

Gjelina is a celebrity hotbed and has a ton of delicious pizza on their menu, there was absolutely no debate on this one.

Skyspace LA

This is California's largest open-air observation deck almost 1000 feet above LA. They also have a glass slide so you can catch some incredible views on your way down. Would be super cool to try.

Have a great weekend everyone! Thanks for reading.
